The Daytona Detour Helmet Replacement Outer Shield in Smoke is a premium smoke‑tinted visor replacement designed specifically for the Daytona Detour motorcycle helmet. Featuring an anti‑scratch coating and Pinlock 70 preparation, this shield enhances visibility in bright conditions while protecting the internal lens surface.

Upgrade your helmet with this smoke shield to reduce glare on sunny rides without sacrificing clarity. The anti‑scratch surface keeps your vision clear over time, while Pinlock readiness means you can add a fog‑resistant lens if needed.

Features:

  • Daytona Detour Compatibility: Designed exclusively for the Daytona Detour motorcycle helmet for a precise model-specific fit.
  • Smoke-Tinted Shield: The medium smoke tint helps reduce bright sunlight and glare while maintaining clear visibility for daytime motorcycle riding.
  • Pinlock 70 Ready: The shield is prepared for a Pinlock 70 anti-fog insert, sold separately, allowing you to add additional fog protection when needed.
  • Anti-Scratch Coating: The anti-scratch surface helps protect the shield from minor abrasions and maintain clear visibility during regular riding.
  • Quick Snap-On Installation: The shield snaps on and off the Daytona Detour helmet without tools for quick replacement.
  • Daytime Riding Shield: The smoke tint is designed for bright daytime conditions and is not recommended for nighttime riding.
  • Smoke Motorcycle Helmet Shield: The smoke finish provides glare reduction for sunny rides without the darker appearance of a full blackout tint.

Daytona Detour Smoke Shield for Daytime Riding

The Daytona Detour Smoke Outer Shield provides a darker tint than a clear shield, making it suited to bright daytime riding. Because it is a tinted shield, it is not recommended for nighttime or low-light riding. For those conditions, a clear shield is the better choice.
